The New Prince of Tennis Movie “Ryoma! Visual featuring new character played by Park Romi released, 2 types of screenings announced

The new theatrical version of “The Prince of Tennis”, “Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis: The New Movie”, will hit the screens on September 3.
A poster visual featuring the main characters and a new character played by Park Romi has been released, and it has also been revealed that the film will be shown in two versions with different scenes.

“Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis: The New Movie ” is a new theatrical version that depicts a never-before-revealed episode that took place during the gap of three months between “The Prince of Tennis” and “The New Prince of Tennis”.
The story begins three days after Seigaku’s fierce battle with Rikkai in the final match of the national tournament, when Ryoma goes to the U.S. by himself to train as a tennis player in order to become even stronger. When he arrives there, Ryoma and his classmate Ryuzaki Sakuno are transported back in time, to a time when Ryoma’s father was known as “Samurai Nanjiro” and was famous around the world for his tennis.

The poster visual released this time depicts Ryoma and other main characters against the backdrop of the west coast of the United States. Since the story of the film is about time slipping into the past, we can also see a young Ryoma and his older brother Ryoga.
How will the childhood Ryoma and his brother Ryoga appear, as well as the present-day Tezua Kunimitsu and Atobe Keigo? And how will the fates of Ryoma and the young Nanjirou intersect? Expectations are high for more information to come.

Also unveiled was a new character, Emerald, voiced by Park Romi, who is participating in “The Prince of Tennis” for the first time.
She is one of the members of the “Tennis Gang” that Wolf (played by Sugita Tomokazu) and others belong to, and is said to be a key person in this work. It will be interesting to see the chemical reaction of the increasingly gorgeous “The New Prince of Tennis” voice actors.

In addition, it was announced that the movie will be shown in two different types with different scenes.
“Decide” features Kunimitsu Tezuka, the head of the Seigaku tennis club, and Yukimura Seiichi, the head of the Rikkai tennis club, while “Glory” features Atobe Keigo, the head of the Hyoutei tennis club, and Shiraishi Kuranosuke, the head of the Shitenhouji tennis club.
Be sure to check out the 3DCG visuals of Yukimura’s dignified expression and Shiraishi’s fearless smile.

“Ryoma! The Prince of Tennis: The New Movie” will be released on September 3.
On April 3, the first Movie Ticket card, which comes with seven random character can badges, will go on sale. In addition, the terrestrial broadcast of “The Prince of Tennis: National Tournament Arc” will start on April 6 on the TV Tokyo network.
