The 2nd PV of the TV anime “Kingdom”, which will start broadcasting on April 4, 2021, has been released. As a special project prior to the broadcast, an interview project will be held on “Weekly Young Jump” for 4-consecutive weeks.
“Kingdom” is based on the same-name manga by Hara Yasuhisa that is currently being serialized on “Weekly Young Jump”. The manga is set in the Spring and the Autumn of the Warring Periods of China, and it depicts the activities of Shin (voiced by Morita Masakazu), who wants to become the greatest warlord and young Ei Sei (voiced by Fukuyama Jun), who later becomes Qin Shi Huang.
The 2nd PV features scenes of the battle in Kankoku Pass that happened due to the invasion from the Coalition Army (Chu, Zhao, Wei, Yan, Han, and Sai) as well as the fierce battle scenes like Shin and Duke Hyou vs Zhao Army and Mou Bu vs Chu Army. The contents of this PV will make you feel that this is the “historical greatest battle”.
