In the ABEMA special program “Kimetsu Festival Online -Anime 2nd Anniversary Festival-” on February 14 (Sun), it was announced that the 2nd season “The Entertainment District Arc” from the TV anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer” will be broadcast in 2021.
It celebrated the 2 years of the anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer” along 4 special areas: “Illustration Gallery”, “One-Cut Exhibition”, “Game ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer’ Hinokami Kepuutan”, and “Kimetsu School” in the streaming. While looking back on the past 2 years with movies by illustrations, there were a lot of contents released; original pictures of the famous scenes, the hands-on trial play of “‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer’ Hinokami Kepuutan”, and “A Comprehensive Junior and Senior High School! Kimetsu School Valentine’s Day Arc” Episode 4, which was shown for the first time.
At the end of the streaming, the TV anime adaptation for 2021 was announced with a special report on “The Entertainment District Arc” from “Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer” after the recitation by Hanae Natsuki as Kamado Tanjiro, Kitou Akari as Kamado Nezuko, Shimono Hiro as Agatsuma Zenitsu, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu as Hashibira Inosuke, and Hino Satoshi as Rengoku Kyojurou. Konishi Katsuyuki as Uzui Tengen was a surprise guest and spoke with great enthusiasm for the broadcast of “The Entertainment District Arc”.
