All 23 volumes of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” have sold more than 150 million copies! Two coloring books have also been released simultaneously!

It has been announced that the total number of copies of the 23 volumes of the manga “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” has surpassed 150 million, including electronic versions. In addition, it has been decided that two books, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Red” and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Blue” will be released simultaneously on March 4 as the first coloring books using the original illustrations.

The “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” will finish in the 2020 24th issue of “Weekly Shonen Jump” on May 18, and the publication of the book ended with the release of volume 23 on December 4, 2020.
Even after the book’s conclusion, it has continued to be popular thanks to the TV anime that aired from April to September 2019, as well as its sequel, “Demon Slayer: KImetsu no Yaiba- Movie Infinity Train,” which was a huge hit.

In addition, it has been learned that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Red” and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Blue” will be released simultaneously on March 4 as the first coloring books using the original illustrations by Gotouge Koyoharu.
Each book contains 36 illustrations you can color in that faithfully reproduce the atmosphere of the original, making it a “worthy” coloring experience that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Some of the pages can be torn out as they have perforations. The back of the cover is a “special poster” with a color illustration of the book, which is sure to attract fans’ attention.

To commemorate the release of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Red” and “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Coloring Book – Blue”, a “Demon Slayer Coloring Contest” will be held by either posting entries on Instagram or by mail. In addition, “Demon Slayer x Coupy Pencil”, a set of 12 coupy pencils that match the images of the characters, will be released on March 12 as original goods.
This autumn, the first exhibition of the original drawings of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is scheduled to be held, so keep an eye on “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” for the future.
