From the TV anime “Otherside Picnic”, the storyline and preview of Episode 3 “Kyotou no Mura” (to be broadcast on Tuesday, January 18, 2021) have been released.
“Otherside Picnic” is originally a novel written by Miyazawa Iori and published by “Hayakawa Bunko JA”.
The story is set in the “Otherside”, a world right next to reality, where dangerous beings from ghost stories, including “Kunekune”, “Hasshaku-sama”, and “Kisaragi Station” appear.
Kamikoshi Sorao found the “Otherside” through a door in a deserted house, and after her encounter with Nishina Toriko, the dangerous survival of the two begins…
Episode 3 is titled “Kyotou no Mura” (The village of giant heads).
Toriko shows enthusiasm in venturing the “Otherside”. Sorao goes along with her but has concerns about taking risks with Toriko.
The two proceed while avoiding the Glitches (dangerous spots) of the “Otherside”. They were heading to the supply base Toriko found on a previous venture, but somehow they reached a lonely village that Toriko didn’t recognize. And there they meet…
