Hosoya Yoshimasa (Sawamura Wakan)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I feel that this work carefully pictures the story of people’s emotions and thoughts.
And I think that the director, sound directors, and other staff had the same feelings and tried to include it as well.

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
I thought that I would be able to play the role, staying on position, “I have been in this industry for a long time.”
At first glance, he is just 30-years old but he is still an adult.
I felt really sorry for dialect teachers because I was annoyed learning the Tsugaru dialect. Please enjoy it!

Miyamoto Yume (Maeda Shuri)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I think that each person who speaks the Tsugaru dialect makes this work more colorful. And the shamisen performances with a sense of speed that intersects with the emotions’ culmination, and drawing you into this work. Actually, I was listening to the shamisen performance during the play. That power of the original manga is visualized as it is. Please look forward to it!

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
Actually, I myself always loved the time and space of club activities that only students can enjoy, so I felt a lot of sympathy for Shuri’s enthusiasm toward club activities and friends. Shuri is a little withdrawn, but she is a very passionate girl. I myself also challenged this work with passion, and I want to show Shuri’s and others’ devotion to shamisen. Thank you.

Kondo Reina (Yamazoto Yui)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I think it is great that modern schools still care about saving shamisen’s old traditional culture.
The Tsugaru shamisen tone that appears in the performance scene got to me and really moved me. I even get interested in what it would look like if I listened to the performance in the anime.
I think many people regardless of their age or gender will enjoy this anime!

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
During the audition, I thought that she is a very interesting character! Moreover, she is a nerd! Like me! After understanding a character and finding things in common, I wanted to play Yui even more.
Since there are many wonderful moments , such as the comical expression when she is being a nerd and the serious expression when she is devoted to playing on the Tsugaru shamisen, I will do my best to show you everything through the anime!

Okamoto Nobuhiko (Yaguchi Kaito)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I thought this work is very realistic.
I was impressed by the sound of the shamisen in the rehearsal video, so I was concerned about playing it realistically.
I’m really looking forward to how the final result of combining sound and picture will look like.

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
My first impression of him was as a rough but delicate child.
I think the reason why he looks rough is that he is saying what he thinks.
I think Setsu is kinda quiet, so I hope he can break such quietness in a good way.

Suzuki Tatsuhisa (Nagamora Rai)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
I think this work is completely dedicated to shamisen and its sound.
There are as many opinions as there are people, and it creates a drama. It is impressive how “sounds that should not be heard” while reading the manga were made. It sounds in my head even though I don’t know it.

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
At first glance, he is a joke. However, if you look closely, you see that sometimes he is acting calmly and sometimes passionately as a child with an unbalanced character, which seems not appropriate for his age.
I hope I can deliver a wonderful sides of Rai with the staff.

Honda Takako (Sawamura Umeko)
Q1. Could you tell us your impression of this work?
Although along with the Tsugaru shamisen players, I witnessed the ups and downs and conflicts, for some reason, it was a very silent work. I have a feeling that the world of “Mashiro no Oto” that I read in the manga will give me goosebumps from the sound.

Q2. Could you share with us your impression of the character you play and your interest in this role?
She is a splendid and wonderful woman who is both energetic and charming… I have felt that she is a selfish mother, although I want to defend her role because I play her (laughs). I would like you to feel what her motives are in this work.
