The one adored as the mother is not the real parent.
The people living here together are not actual siblings.

The story takes place in “Gracefield House” where orphaned children live.

Mom and 38 siblings have been living humble but happy lives, even with no blood relations.
Emma, Norman, and Ray are 11 years old, and the oldest children in the house. They are so bright that they consistently get perfect scores during their daily exams.
One night, the kids see off an orphan named Conny, who is sent away to be adopted, but Emma and Norman follow her after noticing that she left something, and headed for the gate, which they are forbidden to get closer to. Then they discovered the truth behind the orphanage…

This fantasy depicts the three kids decided to escape the house with “all the kids in the house” after they realized who “Mom” actually is and that the house is the place to raise them to eventually be butchered.
