It was decided that the first broadcast of the TV anime “Warlords of Sigrdrifa” will be an hour-long and it will be aired at 11:30 pm on Oct. 3, 2020. The 2nd PV and key visual along with the additional casts information have also been released. This is an original work by A-1 Picture (known for “Sword Art Online” series) where the series composition is handled by Nagatsuki Tappei (the author of “Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-) and Fujima Takuya (known for “Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Vivid”) as the character designer.

“Warlords of Sigrdrifa” take place in a world where “Pillars” suddenly appear that threaten all life.
When humanity were being cornered, a God who called himself “Odin”, he gave humanity the war maidens “Walküres” and the HeroCraft as their wing to counter the “Pillar” along with the counterattack declaration.
A few years later in Japan, three Walküres confront the giant Pillar looming over sacred Mt. Fuji. Then, an ace pilot has arrived from Europe…

During the regular broadcast called, “Walküres Information Centre” #3 on Nico Nico Live Broadcast/ YouTube LIVE/ Periscope on Aug. 26, the broadcast timing as revealed. Moreover, the 2nd PV featuring new cut-scenes and the opening theme song “Higher's High” by Nanawoakari was revealed together with the 2nd key visual that depicts the Walküres along with the back appearance of the male character from Tateyama Base and an unknown person.

Furthermore, a total of five additional casts are announced and they are Hirata Hiroaki as Satomi (the commander of the Tateyama Base), Chiba Shigeru as the Maintenance Team Leader, while Nakamura Yuuichi, Sugita Tomokazu, and Mafia Kajita will voice “Ronge”, “Kinpatsu”, and “Gurason”, the trio from the Shield Team that protects the Walküres.

The broadcast of the TV anime “Warlords of Sigrdrifa” will start at 11:30 PM on Oct. 3 on Tokyo MX and other. The first broadcast will be an hour special episode.
