The largest manga/anime event in western Japan, “Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2020” (known as Kyo Mafu) has been decided to be held on Sep. 19 and 20, 2020 at Miyako Messe (Kyoto Industrial Hall) and other venues. The lottery application of prior admission tickets started on Aug. 5.
This time, voice actor, Yashiro Taku and VTuber, ChroNoiR (Nijisanji) will serve as “Kyo Mafu 2020 Welcome Ambassadors”.
The “Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2020” will be held, taking the maximum measures against infectious diseases considering of the operation based on the “new lifestyle” with the health and safety of visitors, exhibitors, and people involved the first priority.
Yashiro and ChroNoiR, who have been appointed as Ambassadors of Kyo Mafu 2020, will also introduce the appeals of Kyo Mafu in various ways not only on the day of the event but also during the exhibition period.
Moreover, the Kyoto edition of the Sound AR app “Niji Meguri” that leads you around the cities in Kyoto with the members of the virtual live project “Nijisanji” has also been decided.
