The 2nd season for the TV anime “How Not to Summon a Demon Lord” has been announced with the title “How Not to Summon a Demon LordΩ”, and decided that it will be broadcast in 2021.
Together with the announcement, a teaser visual has been released , and the comments and the illustrations from the involved people, including the casts of Mizunaka Masaaki, Serizawa Yuu, and Waki Azumi, arrived.
“How Not to Summon a Demon Lord” is a fantasy light novel by Murasaki Yukiya, which is publishing from “Kodansha Light Novel Bunko”.
The protagonist, who has been known as the “demon lord” with overwhelming power, is one day summoned to the different world with the appearance in the video game. The story is called “Otherworldy Adventure with Dreams and Magic”, where the protagonist is tossed about by the heroines, while behaving as “the Demon Lord Diablo” with ultimate power.
The 1st season of the TV anime was directed by Ajiado under the director Murano Yuuta, which had been broadcast from Jul. 2018 to Sept. 2018.
“How Not to Summon a Demon LordΩ” will be directed by Kuwahara Tomo (known for “Dagashi Kashi 2” and “The Quintessential Quintuplets”), while Tezuka Production and Okuruto Noboru produce animation.
Fudeyasu Kazuyuki will be the series director, and Kaneko Shizue will be in charge of the character designs.
The teaser visual released together with the announcement contains the design of Diablo, Shera, and Rem in the middle, while the character shows a peace sign as they celebrate the production of 2nd season.
The head priest Lumachina and magical robot maid Rose will be the new characters for the 2nd season, and they are raising expectations toward the 2nd season.
TV anime “How Not to Summon a Demon LordΩ” is scheduled to be broadcast in 2021. Detailed information will be released later.
