The film adaption of the “Bungou Stray Dogs” stage play has been decided as “Bungou Stray Dogs BEAST the Movie”. Hashimoto Shouhei, the actor of Akutagawa Ryunosuke says, “I will do my best to bring the charm and fun of 'Bungou Stray Dogs' through various media mixes”.

“Bungou Stray Dogs BEAST” is a spin-off of “Bungou Stray Dogs” published by Kadokawa Beans Bunko.
What if the “Port Mafia's dog” Akutagawa Ryunosuke joined the Armed Detective Agency? What if Nakajima Atsushi with the “Beast Beneath the Moonlight” joined the Port Mafia? The story depicts various “if” worlds.
Not only Akutagawa and Atsushi depicted in a different style from the main series but also Oda Sakunosuke, Dazai Osamu's sworn friend, making an appearance gains much support for “BEAST” and this will be its first film adaption.

Also, a new stage play has been announced.
The stage play “Bungou Stray Dogs Jo -Hashigaki- Tanteisha Setsuritsu Hiwa ・ Dazai Osamu no Nyuusha Shiken”, which is based on “Tanteisha Setsuritsu Hiwa” (Behind the establishment of the Detective Agency) and “Dazai Osamu no Nyuusha Shiken” (The entrance exam of Dazai Osamu) from the “Bungou Stray Dogs” novel series, will be performed in 2020, and in 2021, is “Bungou Stray Dogs Dead APPLE” which is based on the 2018 animation film “Bungou Stray Dogs Dead APPLE”.
