The world's largest Doujin fair “Comic Market 97” is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koutou-ku, Tokyo) from Saturday, Dec. 28. There was a booth to celebrate the 10th-anniversary of “Steins Gate”. At the Aomi Exhibition Hall, many people came to see the exhibits of the corporate booths.
The booth was called “Future Gadget Lab”, the name of the laboratory in “Steins Gate”. Their “Gadgets” were quite unique, starting from a business card shaped top-secret data transmitter (2,000JPY with tax), to an eyeglass cloth which they insist as been already used (1,000JPY with tax). Of course, the cloth is completely unused.
They also had commemorative badges, tote bags, and long sleeve shirts, totaling 5 types of goods. They even sold sets of all the goods together.
Other than the merchandise, they had three life-size pannels of the characters, with many fans taking photos of them.
