The 2nd PV footage from upcoming TV Anime “Itai no wa Iya nano de Bogyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.” shows the protagonist Maple jumping into the VRMMO “NewWorldOnline”. In addition, a key visual showing all the main characters has been revealed.

“Itai no wa Iya nano de Bogyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.” is originally a light novel series with a total of 700,000 printed copies and more than 80 million PV views.
The story takes place in the popular game VRMMO “NewWorldOnline”. The protagonist Maple, devoting all of her status points to defense power, gains the skill of [Absolute Defense]. As a result, she she can disable all kinds of attacks and overcome any barriers with her “Lethal Poison” skill. The strongest rookie of the game challenges into a new great adventure.

The released 2nd PV footage starts with the protagonist jumping in the game “NewWorldOnline”. Battle scenes of Maple using her defense skills are shown, followed by the appearance of Sally and other characters.

In addition, Ono Kenshou, Yamazaki Takumi, Taketatsu Ayana, Canna Nobutoshi, Satou Rina, Yamaguchi Kappei, Ishida Akira, Minaguchi Yuuko, and Tange Sakura have been chosen as cast members. “Kyuukyoku Unbalance!” by Afilia Saga and “Play the world” by Sasaki Rico have also been selected as opening and ending themes respectively.

The TV Anime “Itai no wa Iya nano de Bogyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu.” is scheduled to be broadcast on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and others from Jan. 8, 2020.
