Japan's very first BL anime screening event "BL FES!!" will be produced by "BL King" voice actor Morikawa Toshiyuki

Japan's very first BL anime screening event "BL FES!! – Boys Love Festival!!-" will be held in Winter 2020 at Shinjuku Wald99 in Tokyo among other locations nationwide.
Voice actor Morikawa Toshiyuki who holds the nickname "King of the BL world" will be in charge of general production of the event as the chairman of this project. "Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka" and "Marudase Kintaro" will be adapted into anime for the first time and screened as a double feature among other works.

The commemorable first round of works that will be adapted into anime and screened as a double feature are "Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka", a love story between announcer Kunieda Kei, who has a double personality, and filmmaker Tsuzuki Ushio who is the same age as Kunieda, and "Marudase Kintaro", a gratifying crude battle action work that has unique fighting "techniques" such as "Porori Otoshi" and "Oinarisan Jime" that are comical and dynamic.
In addition to this screening, a presentation of the 2021 edition of the prominent BL award "This BL is amazing!", as well as screenings where reactions are allowed, talk shows with cast appearances and others are planned for this event.

The chairman in charge of the general production of this project is voice actor Morikawa Toshiyuki, who is known for his roles as Nick Wilde (Zootopia) and Sephiroth (FINAL FANTASY VII) as well as his tireless work in dubbing foreign films.
As Morikawa has been in many BL works, this had earned him the nickname "King of the BL world" and is sure to liven up Japan's first Boys Love Festival with the 2 variety filledworks.

"BL FES!!-Boys Love Festival!!-" will be held in winter 2020 at Shinjuku Wald9 in Tokyo among other locations nationwide. Details can be found at the designated website.

I am so excited to see the animated(!) announcer Kunieda moving, walking, getting angry! And to see Ushio laugh, struggle, and make a move (maybe)! I hope that everyone can look forward to it and enjoy it with me. Please say yes! Thank you so much.

【"Marudase Kintaro" Author Guren Naomi】
I am the one most surprised by the sequel "Marudase Kintaro" becoming an animated film 10 years after releasing "Masaka no Kintaro" (the first work in the series). I would be happy if you enjoy it.
