From the anime series "The Case Files of Jeweler Richard" comes the main trailer of the everyday life of Richard (voiced by Sakurai Takahiro) and Seigi (voiced by Uchida Yuuma) at the jewelry shop. We also received comments from the musicians recording the theme songs; Yanagi Nagi for the OP and Da-iCE for the ED.

The trailer depicts the everyday life of Richard, the beautiful foreign jeweler, and Seigi who works at Richards jewelry shop "Etranger". It also includes scenes of the "complicated" customers visiting the shop.

Tanimoto Akiko (voiced by Hanazawa Kana), Seigi's classmate in university who is obsessed with minerals, and Shimomura Haruyoshi (voiced by Iguchi Yuuichi), Seigi's friend, have made their first appearance in this trailer.
With the voice cast being revealed, the expectations rise for the story weaved by jewelry.

The musicians in charge of the opening and ending have also been decided.
The opening is by Yanagi Nagi, famous for her songs used in works such as "My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong, As I Expected" and "Hoshin Engi", while the ending is by the talented quintet dance & vocal group with a beautiful 4-octave voice of the two vocalists, Da-iCE.

The opening theme, "Houseki no Umareru Toki" (When the jewels are born) will be released on Feb. 19, 2020, and the ending theme, "Only for you" will be on the 17th single of Da-iCE "BACK TO BACK" released on Dec. 18.

The anime series "The Case Files of Jeweler Richard" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS11, AT-X, and WOWOW from Jan. 9, 2020.

【Yanagi Nagi】

It was a strange twist of fate when I got the job for "The Case Files of Jeweler Richard", a story that deeply connects with people who love minerals since I was recently into minerals and have been collecting them.
Kitagawa Katsutoshi is in charge of composition translating the sparkles of jewels into music. I also stuffed the lyrics with the charms of jewels. We ever brought a geode to the recording and tried cracking it with Kitagawa-san. Everyone was amused by the beautiful crystals emerging from the bland piece of rock saying "I see why people like this". It made me so happy. I put these feelings into the song hoping that everyone can enjoy the charms of jewels.

【Oono Yuudai from Da-iCE】

I'm Oono Yuudai and I was in charge of the lyrics for "Only for you". I'd like to show my gratitude for the song being chosen for the ending theme. The fateful meeting of Seigi and Richard, Seigi's absolute trust, feelings, friendship, and aspiration towards Richard… All of these are weaved into the lyrics. I also used ambiguous expressions to leave the interpretation of the song to the listeners. I hope this song compliments the show making it even better!
