A collaboration plan between the TV Anime 『Vinland Saga』 and the Saga Prefecture titled 「Vinland Saga(佐賀)」 will soon begin. An original preview video narrated by the main protagonist Thorfinn’s father Thors in the Saga dialect was released. The collaboration’s main event 「Search for Vinland！ Grand Voyage Mystery Stamp Rally」 will be held at Tokyo, Akihabara from October 3rd for a limited time.

「Vinland Saga(佐賀)」, is implemented as part of the Saga Prefecture Regional Revitalization Project 「Sagaprise!」
The pun“「Saga」＝「Saga (佐賀)」” as well as 『Vinland Saga』’s aim 「Vinland（＝Utopia）」 with Japan’s 「Utopia（＝Vinland）」, the Saga Prefecture was only realized through a passionate understanding of 「Vinland」.

In the collaboration project, the opening ceremony will be held at Akihabara and AKIBA SQUARE on October 3, the first day of the event. From the same day till the 8th of October, 「Search for Vinland！ Grand Voyage Mystery Stamp Rally」 will be held for a limited time, a flag store selling 『Vinland Saga』 original goods and special products from the Saga prefecture will be opening in Akihabara, EDION AKIBA as well.

And to commemorate the collaboration, an original preview video was released on the official website. Featuring the main protagonist Thorfinn’s father Thors who for some reason was familiar with the Saga prefecture begins to explain the charms of the Saga prefecture to Thorfinn in the Saga dialect.

At the same time, illustrations of 『Vinland Saga』 characters together with Saga prefecture’s local products as part of the collaboration was released on the official website. A lottery is also currently being held on the official Twitter known as 「Vinland Saga (佐賀)」 character vote where a luxurious present from the Saga prefecture can be won through a lottery.
