Spring Anime “Oshi no Ko” Starts! Countdown Illustration Drawn Exclusively for ABEMA

ABEMA has released an illustration drawn exclusively for ABEMA as a countdown project just before the distribution of the TV anime “Oshi no Ko”, which will start on April 12.

The original story of “Oshi no Ko” is serialized in “Weekly Young Jump” and “Shonen Jump+” by Akasaka Aka, known for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War,” and Yokoyari Mengo, known for “Kuzu no Honkai (Scum’s Wish)”. With the unique worldview, storyline, mystery elements and the brand-new portrayal of the entertainment world, the manga became a big hit.
The story begins when Goro, a gynecologist working in a provincial city, meets Ai, his “favorite” idol, and their “worst” encounter sets their strange destiny in motion.

The illustrations released this time feature Ai, Ruby, and Aqua, each of them holding “Abema-kun.”

The illustration vol.1 shows Ruby posing with Abema-kun in her lap.

Vol.2 features Aqua holding Abema-kun in one hand with a cool expression.

Vol. 3 shows Ai with Abema-kun on her head, winking at fans. The hood with cat ears adds to the cuteness of her.

The TV anime “Oshi no Ko” will start airing on April 12 (Wed) at 11:00 pm on TOKYO MX and other stations.
The earliest free distribution will be available on ABEMA from 11:00 am on April 12 (Wed).
