Blue Lock Wafers Vol.2 is now available for pre-order on Premium Bandai.
The original story of “Blue Lock” is a soccer manga that won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award for Youth Division. The story is written by Kaneshiro Mineyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yusuke, and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine”.
Blue Lock is a project launched by the Japan Football Union to train strikers who can lead Japan to the World Cup championship. All the 300 high school students gathered are assigned to play forward. The story depicts them as they go through a selection process to become the world’s best striker.
The TV anime has been broadcast in two consecutive cours since October 2022. A sequel, the second season of the TV series and “Blue Lock the Movie -EPISODE Nagi” are also under production.
The wafer card collection encloses a total of 30 kinds of cards, including 22 character cards featuring unique characters and 8 visual rare cards with foil stamping specifications.
In addition to the main character Isagi Yoichi, Bachira Meguru, Nagi Seishiro, and Mikage Reo, the new lineup welcomes Itoshi Rin, Aryu Jyubei, and Tokimitsu Aoshi.
Blue Lock Wafers Vol.2 (set of 20) will be priced at 3,300 yen (tax included). The shipping is scheduled for July 2023.
