Reruns of all 12 episodes of the TV anime “Bakemonogatari” will start on April 12, 2023, on TOKYO MX and other stations on Wednesdays at midnight.
“Bakemonogatari” is an anime based on Nishio Ishin’s novel, one of the first works published by Kodansha Box, which consists of five stories. Published on November 1, 2006, “Bakemonogatari (Vol.1)” contains three stories “Hitagi Crab,” “Mayoi Maimai” and “Suruga Monkey.” “Bakemonogatari (Vol.2),” published on December 1 of the same year, includes “Nadeko Snake” and “Tsubasa Cat.” “Kizumonogatari”, “Nisemonogatari (Vol.1)”, and “Nisemonogatari (Vol.2)” were also published in 2008 as sequels.
The TV anime, directed by Shinbo Akiyuki and animated by Shaft, went on the air in 2009. The story depicts a tale of youth and supernatural phenomena, starting with “Hitagi Crab” in which the main character, Araragi Koyomi, saves his classmate Senjogahara Hitagi who fell down the stairs one day in her senior year of high school. Koyomi, driven by his good nature, finds himself saving girls who encounter supernatural phenomena.
The reruns of all 12 episodes will begin on April 12 on TOKYO MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, BS11, ABC TV, and CBC TV every Wednesday at 24:30.
