Collaboration sneakers by the anime “Mobile Suit Gundam” and the Japanese sneaker brand “MOONSTAR” are now available. Pre-orders are now being accepted at “STRICT-G” on “Premium Bandai,” the official online store of Namco Bandai Group.
The “STRICT-G MOONSTAR ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’ Sneakers: Low” are low-cut sneakers featuring the “Mobile Suit Gundam” anime series, manufactured by Moonstar, a long-established shoe manufacturer founded in 1873. Using warm and comfortable canvas fabric, the low-cut upper presents a simple yet elegant silhouette with a slightly thick sole, giving it a vintage feel.
The lineup includes the “E.F.S.F. Model” with white upper and navy sole, the “RED COMET Model” with maroon upper and beige (raw rubber) sole, and the “ZEON FORCES Model” with army green upper and black sole. Each model has a print on the side of the shoe with a symbol that matches the model.
All models come with two colors of laces, which can be changed to match the mood. The insole is also an original design with “U.C. 0079 ONE YEAR WAR” on it. The heels are stamped with the “STRICT-G” logo and “MADE IN KURUME.”
The STRICT-G MOONSTAR “Mobile Suit Gundam” Sneakers: Low are priced at 14,300 yen each, including tax and shipping. The “STRICT-G Online Store” within “Premium Bandai” is accepting pre-orders until February 5, 2023, at 11 a.m., and the shipping is scheduled to begin in February 2023.
The items are also available in ‘STRICT-G’ brick-and-mortar locations, including the Tokyo Odaiba store, Tokyo Solamachi store, NEOPASA Shizuoka store, and Taga SA store from January 28.
