The broadcast date of TV anime “Bungo Stray Dogs” 4th season is on January 4, 2023. To celebrate the broadcast of the 4th season and the 10th serialization anniversary of the original manga, the video “Recap of ‘Bungo Stray Dogs’ in 300 seconds” that summarizes the highlights from the 1st season to the 3rd season of the TV anime, has been released.
“Bungo Stray Dogs” is based on the supernatural ability battle and action manga by Asagiri Kafka and Harukawa Sango that has been serialized in “Young Ace” since 2013. It features the activities of characters bearing the names of actual author, such as Nakajima Atsushi, Osamu Dazai, and Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and the circulation of the related publication has exceed 10 million copies in July 2022.
The TV anime started broadcasting the 1st season and 2nd season in two different cours in 2016, followed by the movie “Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple” in March 2018 and it was premiered in more than 170 theatres in Japan. In April 2019, the 3rd season was broadcast along with the spinoff “Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!” in January 2021.
