“Gundam Factory Yokohama” (hereafter, known as GFY) has announced the “GFY Winter Illumination 2022 feat. ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury'”, which is the winter special performance of the “Moving Gundam”, and it started from November 24, 2022.
The winter special performance “GFY Winter Illumination 2022 feat. ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury'” make use of the opening theme of the fall anime “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury”, “Shukufuku” by Yoasobi to help liven up the performance of the “Moving Gundam”. Along with the performance from the numerous lights and lasers usage, a new posture has been revealed.
Furthermore, this performance will also participate in the overall street’s light and music “Night Viewing” of
Yokohama city center coastal area’s Art Illumination “yorunoyo”, and the frame of the “Moving Gundam”, Gundam-Dock will operate together with yorunoyo’s illuminations, every day at 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, until January 3, 2023.
Don’t miss out this chance to experience the sight of the actual size “Moving Gundam” that can only be seen during this period.
Currently the collaboration with “Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island” is being held at GFY. During the collaboration period until December 11, the illustration cards with the collaboration illustrations is being distributed, the screening of the beginning part of the movie and commentary video by Furuya Tooru (voice of Amuro Ray) is being held at the conference room, and an exhibition of the 13 character panels and replicate arts from this movie.
At “Gundam Cafe YOKOHAMA Satellite”, 3 types of latte arts, which are Amuro, RX-78-02 Gundam, and Doan’s Zaku, are being sold, so do enjoy this together with the other highlights.
The winter special performance of the “Moving Gundam”, “GFY Winter Illumination 2022 feat. ‘Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury'” is held from November 24, 2022 to January 9, 2023, while the collaboration between “Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island” X GFY is until December 11.
