“Sumikko Gurashi” will hold “Sumikko Gurashi Sento POP-UP SHOP” inspired by a hot spring sequentially in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. With gratitude, the event offers an opportunity for you to sit back with Sumikko character.
“Sumikko Gurashi” is a group of characters created with the theme “Being at corners somehow gives us comfort.” The slightly pessimistic but unique characters have attracted people of all ages, and the work has celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2022.
“Sumikko Gurashi The Movie – The Pop-up Book and the Secret Child”, the first theatrical anime released in 2019, and “Sumikko Gurashi The Movie: A Magical Child of the Blue Moonlit Night”, had respectively sold more than 1 million tickets.
“Sumikko Gurashi” has celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. The POP-UP SHOP will be held to thank all your support with the theme of Sento (hot spring). The event will be traveling around 3 cities at the Tokyo venue, Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi 3F Tower Yard Block 6 Special Venue from Nov. 18, 2022, the Osaka venue, Sumikko Gurashi Shop Osaka Umeda at Rilakkuma Store from December 16, and the Nagoya Venue, Sumikko Gurashi Shop Nagoya at Rilakkuma Store.
The original items available at “Sumikko Gurashi Sento POP-UP SHOP” are “Palm-Sized Plushy”, “Sumikko Sento Plushy Set”, “Plushy Tissue Case”, and “Super Squishy Cushion”. Shirokuma, Tokage, Tapioca, and others relaxing at Sento, will become cute plushies. The design of the tissue case, which will remind you of Mt. Fuji drawn on the wall and sauna, is also enjoyable.
Each venue will also offer a purchase bonus. You will be given one “Hair Clip Set” when you spend more than 5,500 JPY (incl. tax). Each venue has different designs, which are “Shirokuma & Penguin?” for the Tokyo venue, “Tonkatsu & Ebifurai No Shippo” for the Osaka venue, and “Neko & Tokage” for the Nagoya venue. You will also be given one Face Towel when you spend more than 3,300 JPY (incl. tax) at any of the venues.
