The voice-less cheer screening of “One Piece Film Red” and “Inu-oh”! “Bakuon Film Festival” will be held at Odaiba again after 1 year and a half!

The 10th “Bakuon Film Festival in United Cinemas Aquacity Odaiba” that will feature the voice-less cheer screening of “One Piece Film Red” and “Inu-oh”, will be held on November 18, 2022, at United Cinemas Aquacity Odaiba.

“Bakuon Film Festival” is a special film festival that makes use of the audio system of a concert with the concept of “The film festival that is visible with sound and surrounds you with sound”. This is a trial that will have the bold and subtle screening as you can hear the faint sound that could only be heard with a loud reverberation, as well as a change in perception due to that effect. This event first started in 2008, and it has been 1 year and a half since the last “Bakuon Film Festival” that was held within Tokyo metropolitan area in April 2021.

A total of 13 films will be screened. Out of the 13 films, 8 films will appear for the first time in Bakuon, which are “Top Gun: Maverick”, “One Piece Film Red”, “Spider-Man: No Way Home: The Extended Version”, “The Suicide Squad”, “Cure” 4K Digital Remastered”, “Dune”, “Chungking Express 4K”, and “Fallen Angels”.

The screening from 3:00 PM and 8:30 PM of November 20 of “Inu-Oh” (With Lyric) will be screened as the “Voice-less ‘Mania’ cheer screening” while the screening from 6:00 PM, November 22 of “One Piece Film Red” will be screened as “UTA Live in Theatres ‘Voice-less Cheer Screening'”.

The 10th “Bakuon Film Festival in United Cinemas Aquacity Odaiba” featuring the voice-less cheer screening of “One Piece Film Red” and “Inu-oh”, will be held from November 18, 2022 to November 24, 2022, at United Cinemas Aquacity Odaiba. Bakuon Film Festival’s Producer, Higuchi Yasuhito

It has been 1 year and a half since Bakuon Film Festival was held, so the lineups have increased for the first time. “Dune”, “The Suicide Squad”, “Top Gun: Maverick”, and “Spider-Man: No Way Home: The Extended Version” would be insanely great at Bakuon, wouldn’t they? You wouldn’t help crying and laughing while watching. Furthermore, the staple of Bakuon, which is Wong Kar-wai’s works are in 4K and this version with the new enhanced sound will make its first appearance in Bakuon. Among the numerous 4K films that didn’t get an enhancement on the sound, the sound for the remastered Wong Kar-wai’s works will be right on the mark. I’m sure that you will be able to enjoy watching it with the same feeling when watching a new film.

Also, “Bakuon Film Festival in United Cinemas Aquacity Odaiba” will be held in a venue with 500 seating capacity. I believe that the spacious audio system due to the wideness will surely stimulate your body comfortably. This event might also acts as the grand finale of “American Utopia” that was screened continuously in various Bakuon venue in Japan since last year.
