Shu Uemura’s first global flagship beauty boutique, “Shu Tokyo Makeup Box,” will launch the first batch of limited items of the “Holiday Collection Shu Uemura × Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal the Movie” series on October 15, 2022. In commemoration of the collaboration, an event will be held for two days on October 15 and 16, 2022.

“Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon” is a girls’ comic series written by Takeuchi Naoko that began serialization in the monthly magazine “Nakayoshi” (published by Kodansha) in 1991. The original comic has been translated into 17 languages, and the animated series has been developed in more than 40 countries. It has become a social phenomenon in Japan and abroad.

In 2012, Sailor Moon launched its “30th Anniversary Project,” launching a paperback edition, e-book, new anime series, musical, merchandise, fan club, and the official online, in addition to the complete version of the original comic series. The “Sailor Moon Museum” was held this year, and in 2023, the final chapter of the series, “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos The Movie” will be released, further boosting the series.

At this event, Shu Uemura will propose cosmetics and makeup techniques for each individual using the limited edition collection collaborated with “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal the Movie.”

The collection includes eight items: “Moon Crisis Eye Palette (1 type,)” “Eternal Prism Eye Palette (1 type,)” “Rouge Unlimited Kinu Satin,” “Rouge Unlimited Kinu Cream,” “Rouge Unlimited Amplified Lacquer,” Ultim 8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil,” “Shu Makeup Box Mini,” and “Hard Formula Hard 9 Seal Brown 02.”

After getting a nice transformation with the collection items, fans can take photos in the selfie room, which is available limitedly during the collection period. They can also decorate them with the collection’s limited-edition stamps.

In addition, there will be special content only available for these two days, such as limited gifts for purchasers of collection items and light performance.
