Season 6 of the TV anime “My Hero Academia” will be broadcast from October 1, 2022, on the nationwide 29 affiliated channels of Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. The production of web radio has been announced to liven up Season 6. Two programs featuring the Hero and the Villain side will be broadcast every week by turns.
“My Hero Academia” (a.k.a. “HiroAka”) is a hero action based on manga written by Horikoshi Kouhei and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump”, the worldwide sales of which have exceeded 65 million copies.
Set in a world, where the people have supernatural abilities called “Quirks”, the story follows the main character, Midoriya Izuku (Deku), as he takes on “Villains,” who use their quirks to commit crimes, together with his classmates at the prestigious heroes educating school, UA High School.
Season 6 of the TV anime depicts an unprecedented “Paranormal Liberation War” between Hero vs. Villain.
The production of web radio has been announced. Following the previous season, Yamashita Daiki (Deku) and Okamoto Nobuhiko (Bakugou) will be the personalities of “My Hero Academia Radio ‘All Might Nippon’ Season 6”.
On the other hand, Uchiyama Kouki (Shigaraki) and Shimono Hiro (Dabi) will be the personalities for “My Villain Academia Radio ‘Villain Biiki'” and deliver the program from the Villain’s point of views.
Both programs will be composed of talk sessions to dig into the episodes and introduction of listeners’ responses respectively, to liven up the season 6 “Paranormal Liberation War” .
The web radio for Season 6, “All Might Nippon” and “Villain Biiki”, will be broadcast every week by turns. The first broadcast of “All Might Nippon” Season 6 will be on September 30, and “Villain Biiki” on October 14. Please do not miss out on them, which will bring about an “all-out war” to the radio as well.
“My Hero Academia” season 6 will be broadcast on every Saturday starting at 5:30 PM, October 1, on the nationwide 29 affiliated channels of Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV.
