The summer anime ‘Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun’ released the storyline and preview scene cuts for Episode 4, “Friend.”

The original work of ‘Made in Abyss’ is the fantasy comic by Akihito Tsukushi that is currently serialized in “Web Comic Ganma.” Set in the harsh land of Abyss, the story follows Riko, an aspiring Cave Raider, and Reg, a mysterious robot as they unfold a survival adventure.
The first TV anime season aired in 2017, followed by ‘Made in Abyss the Movie: Dawn of the Deep Soul’ in 2020, and the long-awaited second season ‘Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun’ has started in July 2022.

The title for Episode 4 is “Friend.”
Reg meets Faputa, who is called the “Princess of the Hollows”, and Gaburoon, a mysterious robot.

Although Faputa seems to know Reg, his memory is too vague to remember her. Meanwhile, Nanachi looks for water and some fruits at the village market for Riko, who is having stomach problems.

‘Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun’ Episode 4 “Friend” will start broadcasting on TOKYO MX and other channels on July 27.
