The TV anime “Bocchi the Rock!” will begin airing in October 2022. Along with the announcement, visuals with new illustrations of each character have been released.
Bocchi the Rock! is a TV anime based on a four-panel manga series by Aki Hamaji that has been serialized in “Manga Time Kirara MAX” since 2018. The story follows the extremely shy, introverted girl Goto Hitori, also known as “Bocchi-chan”, who joins a band called “Band of Unity” and grows up together with unique members such as Ijichi Nijika, Yamada Ryo, and Kita Ikuyo.
The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Keiichiro Saito and produced by CloverWorks, known for “Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia” and “My Dress-Up Darling”. Can one who is not used to performing in front of others become a great band member? Look forward to the story of the girls as they grow up through their band activities, centered around a live house.
