The TV anime “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.” will celebrate its 5th anniversary in 2022. To commemorate this anniversary, the TV series will be rebroadcast on BS11 starting July 11. In addition, the OVA “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards” will be broadcast on TV for the first time on September 30. In conjunction with this, a comment from Shimono Hiro, who plays as Jean Otus, has come.

“ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.” is a “dramatic ensemble entertainment” based on the manga serialized in “Big Gangan” by Ono Natsume, 12 episodes of which were aired on TV from January 2017. The story is set in ACCA, a gigantic unification organization formed due to the threat of a coup d’etat in a kingdom divided into 13 autonomous regions, where the peaceful daily life of Jean Otus, the organization’s most inedible man, nicknamed “Jean the Cigarette Man,” slowly becomes entangled in a global conspiracy. In 2020, an OVA “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards” was produced, and in addition to the anime, the story has been depicted from various angles, such as in a musical reading performance and stage adaptation, and has been loved by many fans.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of the TV broadcast of “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.” in 2022, the TV series will be rebroadcast on BS11 from July 11, and on September 30, the OVA “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards,” set one year after the main story, will also be broadcast on BS11 for the first time.

It was also announced that “Web Pon” and “Kuji Mate,” online lottery in collaboration with “ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.,” will go on sale simultaneously on July 4, starting at 12:00 pm. The lottery will feature limited-edition goods using the “ACCA” mark and illustrations from the “PALE TONE” series, and it is a no-lose lottery.

I can’t believe it’s been that long already… From my point of view before recording, Jean Otus was a character that was a new frontier for me.
It was because I met Jean that I was able to broaden my range of expression, and that has led me to where I am today… When I think about that, I am truly happy that I met Jean and the work of ACCA!
Although the anime “ACCA” itself has ended… I personally hope that I will be able to play as him again with another opportunity…
