Netflix has announced its anime lineup for the June 2022 season, with the Netflix series “Spriggan” and “Bastard!!: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy” will be streamed exclusively worldwide. Don’t miss “Millennium Actress” and “LINK CLICK”, both directed by Kon Satoshi.

The Netflix series “Spriggan” will be available worldwide exclusively from June 18, 2011. It is a classic adventure manga that took the 1990s by storm and has been made into vividly animated 2D and 3DCG by david production known for “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” series.

The story takes place in a world where the military of a major power intervenes in the excavation and research of the legacy of a super-ancient people with mysterious “powers,” and a battle for it is being waged. In the midst of this, there is an organization that sincerely accepts the message left by someone from a super-ancient civilization to “protect our heritage from the evil one,” and works to seal off that civilization. The organization’s special agents are called “Spriggans.”

The Netflix series “Bastard!!: Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy” will begin exclusive worldwide streaming on June 30. The milestone in the dark fantasy manga genre, based on the original story by Hagiwara Kazushi, has been animated by Liden Film, the studio that produced “Tokyo Revengers” and other works.

The story takes place 400 years after the collapse of modern civilization. The daughter of the Great Priest of the kingdom, Tia Noto Yoko, is forced to make a decision to resurrect an old great wizard who once planned to dominate the world, in order to save her kingdom that is attacked by a rebel army of darkness that plans to resurrect the God of Destruction. The moment Yoko makes up her mind to face the impending danger, a black and powerful specter fills the world around her.

In addition, “LINK CLICK” and “Millennium Actress” will both be released on June 1, and “Josee, the Tiger and the Fish” will begin streaming on June 25. Don’t miss the works of “Clover Works”, one of the most striking studios, as well as “Tokyo 24th Ward” that will be streamed from June 12.
