The first amusement-exclusive prize figures based on characters from the movie “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” (scheduled to be released on June 11, 2022) will be available at amusement arcades nationwide from early summer 2022.
“Dragon Ball” is based on the international hit manga series by Toriyama Akira, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from 1984 to 1995.
Starting with the TV anime “Dragon Ball” broadcast in 1986, the series has been followed by “Dragon Ball Z,” “Dragon Ball GT,” “Dragon Ball Kai,” and “Dragon Ball Super,” with the latest film version, “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero,” scheduled for release on June 11, 2022.
The latest work will be written and designed by Toriyama Akira, the author of the original story, and will feature the story of the “New Red Ribbon Army,” which has taken over the will of the Red Ribbon Army, an evil organization once destroyed by Son Goku.
The amusement-exclusive prizes for “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” announced this time include figures of Son Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the movie’s original characters Gamma 1 and Gamma 2.
The figures have impressive poses with crisp expressions and dignified standing postures as if poised for battle, and are finished with attention to detail, including wrinkles in their street clothes and the swaying of the cloaks of the “Gamma 1 and Gamma 2” characters.
In addition, to commemorate the release of the “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” figure series, a LINE campaign has begun on May 13, 2022, with a chance to win a prize figure or Muviticket by drawing. For details, please visit the “Banpresto Navi” campaign webpage.
The “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” amusement-exclusive prizes will be available at amusement arcades nationwide from early summer.
