New scene cuts have arrived for the theatrical anime “The Phantom Thief Queen Loves the Circus,” which will be released on June 17, 2022. In addition, the bonus design for the soundtrack of the film, which will be released on June 15, has been revealed.
The “Phantom Thief Queen Loves the Circus” is based on a novel for children published by Kodansha Aoitori Bunko, written by Hayamine Kaoru and illustrated by K2 Shokai. It depicts the adventures of the Phantom Thief Queen, who flies around the world in her airship and steals whatever she finds.
The main character, the Phantom Thief Queen, is played by Yamato Yuuga, with Kato Kazuki as the Joker and Uchida Yuma as RD.
The newly released cutscenes show Queen, the mysterious great thief who smiles fearlessly, and Joker, Queen’s business partner with a sharp glint in his eye.
In addition, the Seven Ring Circus’ leader White Face (CV: Morikawa Tomoyuki), Shamon Saito (CV: Furukawa Makoto), Silver Cat Hitomi (CV: Noguchi Yuri), and Iwashimizu Shintaro (CV: Ito Kento), the detective who pursues Queen, and other characters who face Queen in this movie are also revealed.
In this cut, we also get a new look at Nishitooji Kotaro (CV: Hirose Yuya) and Ito Mari (CV: Shimizu Ayaka), the reporters who follow the Queen. We look forward to seeing how these characters will play out.
The soundtrack will be released on June 15, just prior to the film’s release, and the bonus designs for each sales channel have also been unveiled.
The jacket illustration of the Queen in tails wielding a conductor’s baton and the Joker playing a violin will be used for bromides, acrylic coasters, tin badge sets, clear posters, and more.
