The second PV from the TV anime “MF Ghost” (to be broadcast in 2023), based on the original story by Shigeno Shuichi of “Initial D” fame, has been unveiled. Information on the main staff has also been released.
“MF Ghost” is based on the comic of the same title by Shigeno Shuichi, which has been serialized in “Young Magazine” (Kodansha) since 2017. The total number of copies sold so far has exceeded 3.5 million. A TV anime is scheduled to be broadcast in 2023.
The second PV for “MF Ghost” has now been released. Eurobeat, which was used as an insert song in the past “Initial D” anime series, is also used in this successor work. The video shows scenes of the “TOYOTA 86” and other sports cars driving at high speed with realistic driving sounds recorded for the audio.
Information on the main staff was also released. The director is Naka Toshihito, who directed the “Initial D” series, and the production studio will be Felix Film. The series composition will be based on “Are you willing to fall in love with a pervert, as long as she’s a cutie?” and “Holmes of Kyoto”; character design by Onda Naoyuki of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway” and “PSYCHO-PASS: Psycho-Pass 3”; background music by Dobashi Akio, who produced the “Initial D” series; and soundtrack production by Mima Masafumi, who has a deep knowledge of cars and was in charge of “Initial D” (TV series) and “Shinkage no Kyojin”.
The TV anime “MF Ghost” is scheduled to air in 2023.
