The 2nd season of the TV anime “Love Live! Super Star!” is scheduled to begin airing in July 2022, with four new members of the school idol group Liella! In addition, a teaser illustration for the 2nd season of the TV anime has also been released.
“Love Live! Super Star!!” is the fourth in the school idol project “Love Live!” series, following “Love Live!”, “Love Live! Sunshine!” and “Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club”. The story of the school idol group Liella! is set at a new school, Yuigaoka Private Girls High School, located between the three cities of Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama. The first season of the TV anime was broadcast from July to October 2021.
The four new members who have been announced as the 2nd season members of Liella! are Sakurakoji Kinako, Yoneme Mei, Wakana Shiki, and Onitsuka Natsumi. For detailed profiles, please refer to “Love Live! Super Star!” official website or “LoveLive!Days Magazine vol. 27” released on April 28.
The teaser illustration for the 2nd season of the TV anime, with the copy “Catch up, overtake–“, also shows the four new members following the backs of the first term students of Liella!
The four new members will also participate in Liella’s first live and fan meeting tour “Love Live! Super Star! Liella! LIVE; FAN Meeting Tour ~Welcome to Yuigaoka!” where they will be talking to fans. Advance tickets can be bought until 23:59 on May 15, so fans should keep an eye out so as not to miss it.
