The outline and sneak peek of episode 1 “Goodbye Summer Day” of the spring anime “Summer Time Rendering” (Aired on April 14, 2022) have been released.
“Summer Time Rendering” is based on the manga by Tanaka Yasunori started was serialized on “Shounen Jump+” from 2017 to 2021.
This time-travelling, science-fiction, and suspense started when Ajiro Shinpei returned to his hometown, Hitogashima in Wakayama Prefecture for the first time in 2 years as he received the obituary of his childhood friend, Kofune Ushio. The anime will consists of 25 episode, and it will depicts the story until the end.
Episode 1 is “Goodbye Summer Day”.
After receiving the obituary of his childhood friend, Kofune Ushio, Ajiro Shinpei returned to his hometown, Hitogashima in Wakayama Prefecture for the first time in 2 years.
During the funeral, he was told by his best friend, Hishigata So that there is a possibility that Ushio was murdered.
Moreover, Ushio’s sister, Mio mentioned that Ushio might had been murdered as well. In Hitogashima, there was a legend that if you saw your own “shadow”, you will die, and Mio had seen Ushio’s “shadow” when she was still alive…
Episode 1 “Goodbye Summer Day” of “Summer Time Rendering” was aired on April 14, on TOKYO MX and other channels. The exclusive free streaming on “Disney+” had started on April 15.
