The latest movie from the ONE PIECE series, “ONE PIECE FILM RED” (premiere date: August 6th, 2022), released the teaser trailer. It has been revealed that the key person in the story, “the mysterious girl” is the daughter of Shanks, Uta.

“ONE PIECE” is a representative mega-hits manga of Japan, written by Eiichiro Oda, which started serialization in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’ in 1997, and the total number of printed copies has exceeded 490 million. The story revolves around ‘ONE PIECE’ that the legend ‘king of the pirates’ Gol D.Roger left, and the great adventure of the protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy and his ‘Straw Hat Pirates’

The teaser released this time reveals that the “mysterious girl” who has been appearing in the teaser visual and character visual is Uta, the daughter of Shanks.

The video starts with Shank’s striking line “You will always be my daughter no matter how far apart we are, Uta” while showing Shanks and little Uta standing side by side from the back. Then it shows little Uta crying, grown-up Uta standing on the stage as a world-famous diva, and Luffy furiously calling her name, boosting the fans’ excitement for the movie.

Also, the set images of Uta, Shanks, and another important character Gordon, illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, have been released. Gordon, who appears in the teaser with a big scar on his head, was released for the first time. He seems to know the relationship between Uta and Shanks but the details are yet to be announced. ONE PIECE FILM RED will be released nationwide on August 6th, 2022.
