A new visual and 3rd PV of the spring title “The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2″ (broadcast on April 6, 2022) have been released.

The original of”The Rising of the Shield Hero” was a big hit on the novel posting site “Shousetsuka in narou” and is currently published in “MF Books” (KADOKAWA).
Season 1 broadcast in 2019 revealed a story about a very ordinary otaku college student Iwatani Naofumi who was summoned to another world as one of the Four Heroes with swords, spears, bows, and shields. While suffering from numerous false accusations, he and his friends confront “Wave” which brings chaos to the world.

In season 2, which will be broadcast in April 2022, Naofumi, who has regained his honor with the help of Melromarc Q. and his past activities, founds a new companion, Rishia, and heads for the subjugation of the demon “spirit turtle” that has been resurrected in the spirit turtle country to the east of Melromarc.
Naofumi is informed of the existence of a person who has illegally revived the spirit turtle from the regent Ost-Horai, who is the concubine of the king of the spirit turtle while the Allied forces are gathering. Is it possible to subdue the mysterious turtle and reach the mastermind?

This time, 3rd PV was released along with a new visual.
In the video, the ending theme “Yuzurunai” sung by Fujikawa Chiai was put on, and it was finished in a highly dramatic one focusing on Rishia who became a friend to the Hero of the shield.

“The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2” will start broadcasting on April 6.
