‘Gin Tama’: New items with illustrations inspired by Gintoki, Hijikata, Takasugi, and Kamui in outdoor activities♪

Anime “Gin Tama” has announced its new items with illustrations inspired by Gintoki and others in outdoor activities. The items are currently available for pre-orders on the anime and manga e-commerce site ‘Animo’.

TV anime “Gin Tama” is a science fiction historical comedy manga that was serialized in ‘Weekly Shonen Jump’, and the total number of printed copies has exceeded 55 million. The story is set in the Edo period which has been conquered by aliens Amanto and depicts the rampages of the last samurai Gintoki Sakata, also known as ‘Yorozuya Gin-san’.
The TV series started in 2006 and has been running for 13 years with a few breaks.
Splendid voice actors such as Tomokazu Sugita, who plays the main character Gintoki Sakata, Daisuke Sakaguchi, Rie Kugimiya, Susumu Chiba, Kazuya Nakai, and Kenichi Suzumura, take part in the series.

The ‘Gintama’ series has been captivating its fans with various works across media, including manga, anime, and live-action movies.
The first movie “Gintama Shinyaku Benizakura-hen” was released in 2011, followed by “Gintama Kanketsu-hen: Yorozuya yo Eien Nare” in 2013 with an original story written by the author Hideaki Sorachi. And “Gintama THE FINAL”, which depicts the finale of the original work, was released in 2021 and achieved a revenue of 1.9 billion JPY. The live-action series starring Shun Oguri, Masaki Suda, and Kanna Hashimoto has also produced 2 films.

The new item lineup with illustrations inspired by Gintoki Sakata, Toshiro Hijikata, Sogo Okita, Kotaro Katsura, Shinsuke Takasugi, and Kamui in outdoor activities includes six designs of ‘IC Card Sticker’, ‘B2 size Tapestry’, two designs of ‘Tote Bag’ and ‘Lunch Tote Bag’.

The prices are 880 JPY each for ‘IC Card Stickers’, 3,300 JPY for ‘B2 Tapestry’, 2,750 JPY for ‘Tote Bags’, and 2,200 JPY for ‘Lunch Tote Bag’, all including tax. The items will be available for pre-order until April 8th on ‘Animo’. Visit the pages for each item for more information.
