From the movie “Odd Taxi: In the Woods” (to be released on April 1, 2022), a new shot of Yano, one of the most popular characters in the production with his tricky personality, has been released. In addition, a producer’s comment on the “highlights of the film” has also arrived.
“Odd Taxi” is a TV animation series that has been broadcast on TV Tokyo since April 2021, and has attracted much attention for its authentic mystery/suspense development that belies the cute visuals of the characters.
In this movie “Odd Taxi: In the Woods”, the cast and staff of the TV version are reunited. The film consists of testimonies from 17 people involved in the case that the main character, Odokawa, was involved in, reliving the TV series from a new perspective and depicting the aftermath of the shocking final episode.
This time, scene photos of the characters with a particularly “dangerous atmosphere” have been released.
It depicts the characters shown in the TV series, such as Dobu holding a gun with a cold expression, Sekiguchi rushes forward with what looks like a baton, and Yamamoto, the manager of the idol group “Mystery Kiss,” makes a phone call with an intense look on his face.
And the image of the tricky character Yano, a gangster who wears a noble suit, black gloves, and a tousled haircut, and always speaks in a rhyming rap style, saying something in exasperation, is a new cut of the movie that is being shown for the first time.
“Odd Taxi: In the Woods” will be screened in theaters on April 1.
