The “Special Edition” of “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans” will be broadcast on MBS, TOKYO MX, and BS11 from April 5, 2022. For the opening of this work, a new video and a new song by MAN WITH A MISSION was revealed.

“Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans” was broadcast on TV from October 2015. In this “Special Edition”, some episodes of all 50 episodes have been re-edited to 9 times, centering on the activities of the private security company “Tekkadan” to which the main character, Augus Mikazuki, belongs.

In addition, the new song “Blaze” by MAN WITH A MISSION, who was in charge of the opening theme of cour 1 of season 1, has been announced as the opening song. Moreover, the video will consist of completely new cuts. The producing company is SUNRISE BEYOND Co., Ltd.

During the program broadcast, the latest information on the application “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G” for the App Store and Google Play scheduled to be released this spring will also be announced.

■ TV Anime “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans” (Season 1) Synopsis
Set in the world after the big war “Calamity War”. It has been about 300 years since the war ended. The Earth’s sphere has lost its governing structure and a new world has been built with a new system of control. While the tentative peace has arrived, new battles are emerging in the Martian sphere, far from Earth. The private security company Chryse Guard Security (CGS), to which the main character, Augus Mikazuki, belongs, received an escort mission for Kudelia Aina Bernstein, a girl who is trying to make the Martian city of Kruse under the control of one of the Earth’s forces independent. However, after being attacked by the armed group Gjallarhorn trying to pluck the buds of the rebellion, CGS begins to withdraw by decoying Mikazuki Augus and others. The kids’ leader, Orga Itsuka, decided to take this opportunity to rebel against the adults who had oppressed them and decide on a coup d’etat. Mikazuki, who was entrusted with the repulsion of Gjallarhorn by Orga, challenges the battle using Gundam Barbatos, a mobile suit from the “bad festival” era that was used as the power source for CGS.
