The RPG game “The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel” series has gotten a TV anime, titled “The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War” The animation production is handled by Tatsunoko Production, and it is currently in production toward the broadcast in early 2023.

“The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel” series is an RPG game by Nihon Falcom and is loved by many fans around the world.
The TV anime under the title of “The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War” is a story from the perspective of the anime’s original heroine, the young girl Lavie. The original story takes place in the North Ambria State located northwest of Zemuria, which was not depicted in the original game.

The animation is produced by Tatsunoko Production, an animation studio that was established in 1962 with the slogan of “Bringing dreams to all the children in the world”. Up until now, it has produced various popular titles in different genres, such as “Speed Racer”, “Science Ninja Team Gatchaman”, and “Time Bokan Series”.

The TV anime “The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War” is directed by Satou Hidekazu, known for “Aquarion Logos” and “Last Hope”. The broadcast is slated for early 2023, so do look forward to future announcements.
