Winter anime “Girls’ Frontline” disclosed the story outline and several images from episode one, “THE SEED,” which will be broadcast on Friday, January 7th, 2022.

The original work of “Girls’ Frontline” is a simulation smartphone game in which the player becomes the “commander” and takes care of the “tactical dolls” that anthropomorphize guns. The game has spread across Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, and in English-speaking countries and exceeded 18 million downloads worldwide.

The title for episode one is “THE SEED.”
The story is set in the future where “tactical dolls” specialized in battles exist due to World War Three. One day, the tactical dolls of a major munitions company, “SANGVIS FERRI Industrial Manufacturing Corporation,” suddenly rise in revolt against humanity.
The AR platoon, including tactical dolls named “M4A1” that belongs to a private military company “GRIFFIN & KRYUGER Private Military Contractor,” sneaks into the enemy’s hideouts, but what they saw was the military might tactical dolls, the “Agents.”

“Girls’ Frontline” episode one, “THE SEED,” will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels from January 7th, 2022.
