From the 3rd season of the fall anime “World Trigger”, the cast and characters of the Yuba Squad have been announced. The cast includes Hiyama Nobuyuki, Hirohashi Ryo, Ito Kento, and Sekine Arisa. In addition, the synopsis and sneak peek of the 9th episode “Formidable Opponent” which had been broadcast from December 4 (Sat) were also released.

“World Trigger” is based on a science fiction action series written by Ashihara Daisuke and serialized in “Weekly Shonen Jump” and “Jump SQ.”
It depicts Mikumo Osamu, a member of the border defense organization “Border” organized to fight against the invasion of “Neighbors” with unknown power, meeting the mysterious boy from the “Neighborhood”, Kuga Yuuma, and struggling with the Border boys in friendly competition.

In episode 9, Yuuma goes to gather information about his next opponent. Through Midorikawa Shun, he heads to the Border headquarters to get an introduction to Yuba Takuma, the captain of the Yuba Squad.

Then, by chance, Yuuma ends up competing with Obishima of the Yuba Squad.

The cast and characters of the Yuba Squad that appeared in episode 9 have now been announced.

Hiyama Nobuyuki plays Yuba Takuma, the captain of the Yuba squad, Hirohashi Ryol plays Obishima Yukari, the all-rounder who covers for Captain Yuba, Kento Ito plays Tonooka Kazuto, the sniper who excels in covert action, and Sekine Arisa plays Fujimaru Nono, the sports-oriented​ operator who works alongside Captain Yuba.

It will be interesting to see what kind of battle will unfold for Yuba’s team as a new rival standing in front of Tamakoma Second.

“World Trigger” 3rd season episode 9 “Formidable Opponent” was aired on December 4th on TV Asahi and other stations.
