TV anime ‘Attack on Titan’ The Final Season Part 2, scheduled to broadcast from January 9th, 2021, released a key visual. The new visual provides a sense of fragility, showing Eren with a determined look in his eyes while pieces of broken glass with his memories and some memorable scenes are falling away.
The original work of ‘Attack on Titan’ is the manga series of the same title serialized in ‘Bessatsu Shonen Magazine’. The story follows humanity’s desperate struggle in search of freedom in a world dominated by “The Titans”. After the broadcast of season 1 through season 3, this upcoming chapter will be the finale of the series.
The director Hayashi commented on the new key visual; “With Part 1, we prepared 3 visuals with different themes ー Marley, war, and ensemble cast, in hopes of not providing a specific focus. In contrast, the key factor of Part 2 is Eren as an individual. I hope that in cooperation with pieces of Eren’s memories designed, the new visual will give you the sense that the battle of Eren continues since season 1 is heading towards its climax.”
Ahead of the broadcast, a compilation broadcast that divides the 75 previous episodes into 6 episodes is currently held on NHK. The 5th night will take place on December 5th at 24:05, followed by the 6th night on December 12th at 24:05.
In addition, on November 29th at noon, an OVA of spin-offs of the main characters will be distributed for the first time. As well as the three side stories to be broadcast on NHK, ‘Ilse’s Notebook: Notes from a Scout Regiment Member’, ‘A Sudden Visitor: The Torturous Curse of Adolescence’ and ‘Distress’ will be distributed. Visit the official website for more details.
‘Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2’ will start broadcasting on January 9th, 2022 at 24:05. It will also be available on streaming services including dTV, d Anime Store, GYAO!, Netflix, TELEASA, Hikari TV, U-NEXT, and Amazon Prime on January 10th, 2022 at noon.
