From the fall anime “Lupin the Third Part 6”, the outline and sneak peek of episode 4 “The Killers in the Diner” (broadcast began on Sunday, November 7) have been released. The scenario of this episode was written by Oshii Mamoru, who is known for “Ghost in the Shell” and others.

Under the theme of “mystery”, the series composition of “Lupin the Third Part 6” is handled by Okura Takahiro. He is a deduction novel author and many of his works have been made into TV anime series or tokusatsu films. He himself also works with scripts of anime and Tokusatsu films from time to time. In the scripts of the omnibus episodes, special guests that dominate the novel and anime industry, including Tsuji Masaki, Ashibe Taku, Higuchi Akio, Minato Kanae, and Oshii Mamoru, were involved, making this work perfect for the anniversary.

Episode 4 is titled “The Killers in the Diner”.
One evening. Opening the door of the lonely diner, two men came in. When a waitress asks them what they are going to take, they order a boring dish. There are six customers in the diner. All men, all killers. While interacting with the waitress, the two men who devoured the food point an unusual glance…

Oshii, who handled the scenario for the episode, left comments, “I have never expected that I could be involved in Lupin again. Okurasan, who is in charge of the series composition, told me ‘Just do whatever you like’, so I’ve written in my own way.”

Episode 4 “The Killers in the Diner” of “Lupin the Third Part 6” began broadcasting on Nippon TV and other channels at 12:55 AM on November 7.
