The TV anime “Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department” has released the teaser visual and the anime art setting along with the announcement of Umehara Yuuichiro as the additional cast member. His comments were released together with the ones from Maeda Kaori and Amano Satomi. It was also announced that the ending songs are “Aimai Identity” and “Destiny” by Maybe ME, and the comments from the member Shinjou Ai have been released.
“Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department” is based on the comedy manga by Mizusaki Hiroaki that is currently being serialized on “COMIC Meteor”. The story focuses on the assistant researcher Kuroitsu Toka from the Monster Development department of the evil organization Agastia as it depicts her utmost efforts in the background of the faceoff between the good and bad.
The released key visual is handled by the character designer Morimae Kazuya, and it features the confrontation between the main protagonist Kuroitsu and Wolf and their fated rival Sword God Braider with the gathering of the leaders and members of the development department of the evil organization Agastia at the back. The impatience that was shown on the Kuroitsu and Wolf is due to their eagerness to defeat the hero. Or maybe it was due to the pressure from the leaders.
Along with the announcement of Kuroitsu Toka being voiced by Maeda Kaori, Wolf Bate being voiced by Amano Satomi, Professor Sadamaki being voiced by Umehara Yuuichiro, the anime setting art of the 3 characters has been released. The character of Umehara Yuuichiro, Professor Sadamaki always wears a white coat with the AR goggle and he is responsible for the developments in Agastia. The comments from Maeda, Amano, and Umehara have been revealed, which will make you excited toward the broadcast.
Other than that, it was announced that the ending songs were decided to be the double A-side single “Aimai Identity” and “Destiny” by the idol group, Maybe ME. The supporting ver. is “Aimai Identity” while the hero ver. is “Destiny”, so please look forward to the broadcast song depending on the episode.
TV anime “Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department” will start on January 9, 2022, on the “ANiMAZiNG!!!” slot of ABC TV and the nationwide 24 channels of TV Asashi.
<Below are the full comments>
【Maeda Kaori, voice of Kuroitsu Toka】
It has been decided that I will be voicing Kuroitsu Toka!
Even though they are in an evil organization, the members that are putting their utmost efforts daily make me feel encouraged.
Since I am able to share the same thought as them while working, and this fantastic work featured the interesting and unique characters, I am honored to be part of it!
I will do my best so that I won’t lose to Kuroitsu-san, who is doing her best!
【Amano Satomi, voice of Wolf Bate】
I’m Amano Satomi as the voice of Wolf Bate in “Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department”.
Ever since I first read this work that depicts the evil organization from new perspective of developing monsters at the evil organization Agastia, I had become a captive of it. I’m happy to be involved in such a fantastic work!
Wolf-kun is actually a middle school boy in the side, but I like how cute she is when she is doing her utmost effort in her job while being pushed around by the adults Kuroitsu-san and Professor Sadamaki. I will try my best to bring out more of that side.
I hope that you can feel how interesting the work is while fully enjoying the uniqueness of the anime! Also, please support the moving Kuroitsu-san and others!
【Umehara Yuuichiro, voice of Professor Sadamaki】
Everything has creators just like Kuroitsu-san and others, and their efforts are often invisible. This work is a story about those creators.
This story has the theme of Tokusatsu and heroes, but it also features what most of the employees can relate to.
Various unique characters will appear one after another in this light and interesting work, so please look forward to it.
【Maybe ME’s Shinjou Ai】
I’m Shinjou Ai of Maybe ME.
It has been decided that Maybe ME will be in charge of the ending theme song of this work!
When I was told of this offer, I was unable to believe this major opportunity, but I am able to sense the reality after taking part in the recording as well as via this announcement.
Also, for the song “Aimai Identity”, it features a melody that is the first for Maybe ME, and I believe this song will give you a push in an optimistic and bright manner!
I will do my best in hyping up this work so that Maybe ME can also take a leap just like the anime “Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department”! As the first broadcast is on January 9, please look forward to it!
