The production of the latest anime “Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story” with the theme of “Ladies Gold” has been decided. The main cast features Kito Akari and Seto Asami, and it will be broadcast in 2022.

“Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story” is an original anime series by Bandai Namco Pictures Inc. that depicts a youth story by the encounter of two female golfers.

Eve is voiced by Kito Akari, known for Kamado Nezuko of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” and Amawashi Aoi is voiced by Seto Asami, known for Kugisaki Nobara of “Jujutsu Kaisen”. The director is Inagaki Takayuki of “Ninja Box” and “Desert Punk”, the series composition is by Kuroda Yousuke of “Mobile Suit Gundam 00” and “My Hero Academia”, and the theme song is by the singer Hirose Kohmi known for the song of “Romance no Kamisama” and “Gelaende ga Tokeru Hodo Koishitai”. For the golf supervision of this work, it will be handled by the supervisor of World Junior Golf’s Japan Representative and professional coach, Inoue Toru.

“Birdie Wing: Golf Girls’ Story” is scheduled for 2022.

I’m Kito Akari, who has been decided to voice Eve!
As “Birdie Wing” is a golf anime, the recording is a fresh experience to me due to the rare theme, so I am looking forward to the recording everytime!
I will do my best so that this work can be enjoyed by both golf fans and beginners, so do look forward to it!

Seto Asami (Voice of Amawashi Aoi)

I’m Seto Asami as the voice of Amawashi Aoi.
My character is a celebrity in the golf industry, and she is an honest and adorable girl, but she is also a hard-worker as she hates losing! I have no knowledge of golf, but I am starting to get interested in golf due to the encounter with “Bride Wing”!

Inoue Toru (Golf Supervisor)

To me, who was raised up by watching the golf anime of the Showa period, I feel this it was fate when I received the order to supervise the latest golf anime “Birdie Wing” of the Reiwa period.
I have been involved in this work for more than 2 years from the story stage, as I had given some ideas, supervise the golf jargon, recording of the swings and hitting sound, etc.
It would make me happy if even one person in the audience started playing golf after realizing the joy of it from this anime.

Hirose Kohmi (Theme Song)

When I was reading the story after receiving the offer for the theme song, I was able to create the song immediately due to a deep impression of the characters striving toward their goals.
While putting some effort into the arrangement and the live stringed instruments, I had to sing it with all I have.
I hope this will be able to increase the momentum of “Birdie Wing”.
