It was announced that the TV anime “My Dress-Up Darling” will be broadcast in January 2022. At the same time, the 1st PV and main cast information have been released, where Suguta Hina is the voice of Kitagawa Marin and Ishige Shouya is the voice of Gojou Wakana. Both of their comments have been released as well.

“My Dress-Up Darling” is based on the cosplay-themed romance comedy manga by Fukuda Shinichi that is currently being serialized on “Young GanGan”.
The cosmetic throbbing story started from the unexpected interaction between the high school boy Gojou Wakana, who is training to become the hina doll craftsman in charge of the face part, and the popular Kitagawa Marin, who is always being surrounded by her classmate.

It was announced that the broadcast is slated for January 2022 with the main cast info. The beauty gal Kitagawa Marin, who is a reader model and popular in class, is voiced by Suguta Hina while the high school boy Gojou Wakana, who is fixated on creating the Hina dolls and doesn’t interact with his classmate, is voiced by Ishige Shouya.

Ishige Shouya, voice of Gojou Wakana

I’m Ishige Shouya, who will be handling the voice of Gojou Wakana.
If I were to summarize “My Dress-Up Darling” in one sentence, it would be “It’s quite noble”.
The story is quite throbbing as well as “beautiful”.
I’m quite happy that I am able to live in the KiseKoi world as Wakana.
Wakana is quite timid and bad at self-assertion, but I will try my best in expressing the wonderful world setting of KiseKoi while taking care of his purity and broad-mindedness. So, please look forward to the broadcast in January!
