The information on the main cast and staff of the TV anime “This Healer’s a Handful” (Scheduled for 2022) has been announced. The main lead and heroine will be handled by Satou Takuya and Onishi Aguri respectively. The teaser visual and teaser PV have been released together with the cast’s comments.

“This Healer’s a Handful” is based on the manga by “Tannen ni Hakkou”, and it depicts the comedy of the useless another world adventurers, which are the low determination dark elf Karla and the weak novice adventurer Arvin with a high resistance toward being agitation.

This work has become a hot topic among the fans due to the sudden announcement of the anime adaptation in April 2021, and the information on the main cast and staff has been announced. The main lead and warrior Arvin is voiced by Satou Takuya while the dark elf with a sharp tongue Karla is voiced by Onishi Aguri and Onishi Aguri will also handle the opening theme song.

● Please tell us your thoughts when you got the role.

I always wanted this kind of role, where it’s filled with the retorts of the pitiful main lead.
As the audition only consists of dialogue, I fully make use of the tempo and spacing.
I am grateful for this fate.

● What is your impression of the work and character when reading the manga?

The main lead is always doing his best at all times. But with the appearance of Karla and the various unique characters, it becomes a comedy instead.
I can’t stop having the same feeling and pity him as you are able to feel his grief.

● Please tell us your enthusiasm and the messages toward the fan, who are looking for it.

Since the recording has started, I felt that Karla herself has appeared from the voice of Onishi-san.
I always retorted in a large voice and nice rhythm as “Onishi-san is quite a serious person”.
Please watch over their adventure warmly while laughing as well as looking forward to the guest’s appearance. Please look forward to it!

● Please tell us your thoughts when you got the role.

I was happy and surprised when I heard the news!
It makes me happier as Karla is unique as this heroine is the first of its kind, and there are times where I felt that Karla and I share a mutual interest.
I will do my best in voicing Karla in my own manner.

● What is your impression of the work and character when reading the manga?

This work is quite interesting as the comedy skit keeps appearing one after another despite the lukewarm atmosphere.
Karla is quite cute and honest, but her honesty that is out of my expectation makes me feel that she is quite an exhilarating and fascinating character!
In fact, I’m actually quite jealous of her as she is able to live independently without caring about another perspective! (Haha)
Also, there are times, where she shows her feminine side, and you will be able to feel the cuteness due to the gap!

● Please tell us your enthusiasm and the messages toward the fan, who are looking for it.

The interaction between Arvin and Karla is actually quite amusing!
I will try my best in the recording so that it will make you laugh and enjoy it!

Comments of Onishi Aguri, Opening Theme Song Singer

I’m am glad to be able to handle the opening theme song, where I am voicing the main characters!
My first impression of the song is a charming song befitting the theme song of a romantic comedy .
However, the lyric involved Karla’s behavior and the interaction between Arvin and Karla, but it is quite fun as it has a good balance between the cute feeling and ridiculous feeling.
It was quite fun when I sang it, so I am looking forward to hearing it during the anime broadcast.
