“Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” has been released on subscription-based video streaming platforms on October 16. One of the platforms “U-NEXT” lines up 43 titles from the “Gundam” series, including “Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash”, for unlimited streaming.

“Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash” has been released as the 2nd project of “UC NexT 0100”, which intends to spin further the Universal Century. It is a film adaptation of the same-titled novel written by Tomino Yoshiyuki, which is set in the world 12 years after “Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack” that depicts the final battle between Amuro and Char. Since the premiere in June 2021, the film has earned over 2.1 billion yen with more than 1 million tickets sold.

Ahead of the Blu-ray＆DVD to be released on November 26, it has been released on subscription-based video streaming platforms. “U-NEXT” lines up 43 titles from the “Gundam” series for unlimited streaming, which is the biggest lineup among the platforms within Japan.

The designated webpage introduces the titles with 3 genres of “Universal Century Gundam”, “New Century Gundam”, and “Parents & Children”. “Universal Century Gundam” includes “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin” series, “New Century Gundam” includes “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED” series, and “Parents & Children” includes “Gundam Build Divers” series.
